Inaugural Badges at Bat Softball Game: A Swing for a Cause

On Friday, November 1, 2024, Firefighters Charities of Pasco hosted the inaugural *Badges at Bat* softball game at Heritage Park in Land O’ Lakes. Held in conjunction with SwampFest, this exciting event brought the community together to support a worthy cause: raising funds for firefighters and their families impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene.

The event was a tremendous success, with participants and attendees enjoying an evening of camaraderie, friendly competition, and giving back. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mazda of Clearwater for generously sponsoring this event, making it possible to provide much-needed assistance to those in need.

Special recognition goes to Operations Chief Shawn Whited and Assistant County Administrator JJ Murphy, who served as honorary managers for each team, adding a spirited touch to the game.
