Pasco County Fire Rescue has fully resumed emergency response operations as weather conditions have improved.

While some delays may still occur due to lingering weather impacts, rest assured that our teams are working diligently to respond to all emergencies as swiftly and safely as possible.

Although the worst of the storm has passed, we urge everyone to remain sheltered until an official all-clear is given. Hazards such as downed trees, power lines, and flooded roads continue to pose significant dangers, making travel unsafe at this time. Your safety is our top priority.

Thanks for your dedication folks

Good morning, Pasco County residents! Your Pasco County Professional Firefighters are urging everyone to take Hurricane Milton seriously. If you’re in an evacuation zone, please heed the warning and evacuate. Pasco County has multiple shelters available if you need a safe place to go.

Remember, don’t focus solely on the National Hurricane Center’s cone – this storm will impact all of us across Pasco County. Be advised that once winds reach a certain speed, emergency operations will pause until it’s safe for first responders to resume.

We also ask that you stay off the roads after the storm to give recovery and assessment crews the space to work.

Your Pasco County Professional Firefighters are here for you – please stay safe! For further information on shelters, sandbags, and more, follow Pasco County’s official social media.
