🥎 Battle of the Badges

Presented at the Land O’ Lakes Swamp Fest

The Battle of the Badge is an annual softball tournament that brings together local first responders for some friendly competition — all while raising money for a great cause.

This event is more than just a game — it’s about teamwork, community, and giving back.

⚾ A Growing Tradition

The first Battle of the Badge was held on November 1, 2024, featuring a showdown between two Pasco County Fire Rescue teams.

In 2025, the tournament grew to include:

Two Pasco County Fire teams

One team from Pasco County Corrections

One team from Hernando County Fire Rescue

Each year, the tournament continues to expand — bringing even more departments and community members together.
