Message From the President

On behalf of the Pasco County Professional Firefighters, IAFF Local 4420, it is my honor to represent more than 900 dedicated men and women who serve our community with pride, professionalism, and unwavering commitment.

Every day, our members answer the call. Whether it’s responding to emergencies, protecting lives and property, or supporting one another through the challenges of this profession. Behind every response is a firefighter or paramedic who has made a personal commitment to something greater than themselves.

As a union, our mission is clear: to advocate for our members, to protect their rights, and to ensure they have the resources, training, and support necessary to perform their jobs safely and effectively. We are equally committed to strengthening our relationships with community leaders, elected officials, and the citizens we proudly serve.

Our progress is built on unity, professionalism, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Whether we are negotiating for fair compensation, advancing safety initiatives, or securing critical resources for our department, we approach every challenge with purpose and integrity.

We are proud of the work we do, not only in emergency response, but in building a stronger, safer future for Pasco County. And we remain committed to standing together, supporting one another, and continuing to move forward as one unified voice.
